Il Grande Keyence Famiglia ~ take 2!
Il sosia di talento ~ The talented impersonator
The sixth person I would like to mention is Siew, the perernnial impersonator in the house. He is technically sound and has good knowledge of things. Sort of the general knowledge geek like myself. He is into photography and unashamingly put up all the modelesque picture of me in his blog without paying me any royalty fees. Anyway, he is a good buddy of mine in Keyence and though he know nuts about cars;"cannot differentiate between naturally aspirated cars and forced induction cars" I still love the man. Come on now, everybody loves a baldie right? Ratings? Solid 7/10 for colleague and 8.5/10(gave him 0.5 points more coz he can impersonate hyenas and Smeagol) for being a friend. Verdict : A crappy person but comes with big hearts and a helping hand too!
L'uomo con forte passione ~ The man with passion
Person in Seventh Heaventh will be I-Yen. Hailing from Kuala Terengganu, he is a Kampung Boy with lots and lots of passion! He is also very talented in the Camera Vision field and would be an awesome competitor if he decides to jump ship. A soft spoken, well mannered person he can be also a ferocious when needed to be. With a Bodyguard From Beijing looks and good shades, he will look comfortable at any Hollywood sets needing an actor for the Chinese Triad member role! Cool eh? Ratings? 7.5/10 for Colleague and 7/10 for Friendship. Verdict : A man with great Passion but sometimes his Passions are not appreciated!
Bello l'uomo da est ~ Handsome man from east
The eighth person under the microscope would be the man who sells them. Bring forward Jimmy Teh, winner of Mr. Keyence for year 2007 & 2008 (Damn him, I use to be the most handsome person in Keyence before he joins; bagging the 2005 & 2006 title) Well apart from some drinking sessions and some dinners together, basically I don't know him that well. But from the offset he looks decent with smart dressings and a good taste for women...yum yum! Ratings? A respectable 6.5/10 for colleague and a lowly 6/10 for friendship. Verdict : Mysterious but to the Wrong Crowd!

Ok now, firstly let me get this out loud! I'm a proud Xaverian and tradition has it that we Saints won't mix with those wankers from Free School. We drilled 24/7 in schools by our seniors of the rivalry; be it sports or academic. Hmmm, Ryan Lee is from Free School, he is a Frees and a very fat Frees at that. I ought to hate him but his 'cuteness' won me over. He is care-free, good hearted and mild mannered person. Though he has the most irritating voice this part of the world, he is indeed very likable. He is also cumbersome, forgetful and tedious. Which makes him even cuter! I hate to say this but I like this Frees a lot...he is cool and he is alright!
Ratings? 7/10 for being a Colleague(minus 0.5 from him due to his mistakes makes me need to CN!) and a solid 7/10 for friendship. Verdict : This guy has a good heart and a hungry stomach too!

Next will be the prettiest girl ever to come out from Convent Datuk Kramat(High School) as per claimed by her anyway! Not one to disagree and as ever the gentleman, Jon agrees she is beautiful but thinks she is a bit over her head with that statement. Anyway, she is a very hardworking lady and usually stay in office longer than her boss(theoritically I'm her boss). She is also very meticulous about her work and very independent. If ever I were to leave this company, Wei Ling(CDK prettiest) and Charlotte(Lack of Confidence) would be 2 ppl I would like to work with again. Oh, she is also still so young which makes her dedication to work such a mystery! Pretty, Smart, Talkative, Funny and Hardworking is all her virtue. So a good 8.5/10 as a colleague and a 7.5/10 for being a friend. Verdict : No one tell his/her boss that he/she is OVERWEIGHT ~ even slightly! p/s : she has good facial attributes but she also got BadSkin...that's how her christian name is derived : Baskin Lee Wei Ling ryhmes with Baskin Robins
That's it for now; actually Keyence is a big company but these 10 ppl are the only one I think I'll mention for now. Until then, remember; Get that car, Buy that house and Shag that girl! You know you want it!

Il grande Keyence Famiglia ~ Means the Great Keyence Family in Italian
Hmmm, seems like it is about time to blog about my Keyence colleague. I'll try to cover as much person as I can. Reason of blogging about the persons whom I meet more than 8 hours a day? Well, things are pretty rough lately and with each passing day the stress level creep up a few level. Not someone who speculates but was hoping to be able to write a thing or two about the people I co-habitate(work wise le!) for 4 years plus. In case tomorrow never comes(more like tomorrow I'm fired!), the least I can do is to introduce my fellow comrades to my blog's follower!
Il Padrino ~ The Godfather
Ok, as with any organization; there should be a head honcho! And that person is Mr. Gary Wong, conveniently called Curry Wong by fellow colleague in KL. He is strict and firm during office hours but a interesting companion at night. It is as if he has the Jekyll & Hyde personality. He is feared by all and was outspoken even to his superior. His style of take no prisoners gain him some admirers but brings him some enemies as well. A much misunderstood person, he is the perennial leader of Keyence Penang. Sheltering us Penangites from the wrath and fury of HQ. If I'm in a position to judge someone, he should get a solid 7.5 as a boss and an impressive 8 for being a friend. Of course the notion of the higher your post the fewer your friends is very relevant to him. Verdict : Misunderstood!

Second in line would be the funny guy in Keyence(Yes I know, some of you who knows me think that I'm a funny bone too. But meet this guy, spend 5 minutes with him and you'll know what I mean). His name is Jason Tan, conveniently addressed as Shortie by yours sincerly. Apart from being vertically challenged, he is a nice guy with a good heart. He is also very funny and indeed very popular among ladies and gents. Though his English is on par with Phua Chu Kang, I still find him intriguing. To compensate for his lack of centimetres, he style his hair in a spiky mohicanish type. It gain him 1.5cm to be exact and I would still call him Shortie. Anyway, he is a cool 8 as a friend and a commendable 7 as a colleague. Let me put it this way, he is an overall nice person but is not rebelious and toe the line to the T! Good for the management but bad for the rest of us. Verdict : Short on the Centimetres but High on Quality!

Thirdly, I would like to comment about Charlotte Tan. She is the reigning IT Manager of Keyence. Dare I say, Keyence Penang will be in big trouble if she jumps ship. Therefore, every time during bonus review, the Big Boss(which happens to be a Jap) would secretly add another 3 month to her bonus. Think of it this way, averagely she gets 6 months of bonus per year, add in 3 months goodwill bonus from THE BOSS, she would've get 9 months of bonus per year! Cool eh? * figures quotes is purely on speculation level* She is also a nice gal with good humor but one word best describe her, Confidence or the lack of it! She is constantly reminding everyone she is a bit tad higher on the Kilograms and that she doesn't have the looks to go for sharper clothings. Oh come on, for God sake; I saw a girl which must have weighted 150kg wearing an armani suites with high heels. Be more confident girl! Hmmm, for ratings? 8.5 as a friend and a good 8 as a colleague(2 years back she would have get 10/10 for the colleague thingy, but since she is more Jasonmania now then Jonmania, it is understandable!) Verdict : Worry too Much and Lack of Self Confident!

Fourth person? Ms. Goh Ian Chen perhaps? She is married with one kid and expecting another, but I like to call her Ms. Goh purely because she is the best female dresser in the company. Oh, and she got good taste on cars as well! Pity she is married so early and lucky that Jack Khoo! Hmmm, she is the perennial good wife any guys can dream off! Apart from cooking I think she is top notch. She is obedient, homely and earn good money. She has zero guy friends(no speculations pls!) and don't go out 360 days a year! And she would be losing everytime she had an arguement with her husband! Woo hoo...Silly Bean please learn, learn to lose! Ratings? 1.476/10 for being a friend and a good 7.5/10 for being a colleague. Verdict : Too Obedient and Waste of Beauty!

Fifth person is unique, should dare to even use the word enigma. 5th in Hokkiens means "Groh" which can also mean HORNY! So the accolade of the HORNY BASTARD goes to SH LOW. He is horny 24/7 and is the master of all techniques relating to fucking. His HP is so full of pornos that you can literally smells HORNIness miles away from him. Horny he might be, technical stuff wise he is a genius. He knows a lot and are a good worker. Technical know how is his forte but like all HORNY guys, he has a flaw. He doesn't know modesty and is a bragger! Ratings? 5.5/10 for being a friend and 6.5/10 for being a colleague. Verdict : Horny, in a OVER HORNY way!

Fear It Fear Not!
Once I was told I'm a fearless person and I was always brave and calm when doing things. I don't know about anyone of you who might read this blog will agree that if indeed I'm fearless, but I can tell you know while I'm brave and face them obstacles directly or indirectly, I'm indeed very afraid all of the time.
I'm not as some suggest as fearless, I do have my fears and I get scared most of the times. However, each and everytime the Fear of losing, the Fear of having nothing and the Fear of being poor spurs me on to face the day to day obstacles. It is not that I have no fear, it is just I turn my fear into strength. All human feels scared and afraid, it is no shame in admitting it. It is just how you channel the Fear energy to spur you on in life that matters.
I know a lot of people, and due to the gift of God, I'm able to know how one's character quite easily. I knew one guy who owns a car but don't drive it. He is 34 this year and I really can't understand why he couldn't drive his own car. It seems he bought the car just to be able to start it in the morning and shut it down a few minutes later. He would use the bus or asked for his brother to fetch him whenever he needs to go anywhere. He works in a factory and take the factory busses to work. His dad used to be his personal driver when alive but sadly he had passed away a couple of years ago and with his demise the guy still reluctant to learn how to drive his own car. What an idiot! The fear of driving is greater than the fear of not having success, the fear of not having transportation and the fear of not having a girl! Come on, in this age surely a decent girl would have set a car as the minimum requirement for a boyfriend...unless he dates some foreign factory worker...then it might be acceptable.
Next in the line of fire came this girl name Joan. If you follow my blog you'll that know I've mentioned her in the previous postings. Anyway, her problem is the Fear of rejection. She adores this guy from the church and for 2 years have not spoken to him before. Her reasons? She is a girl and should not make the first move. Come on now, this is the perenial problems for 21st century girls. They want equal rights, they want equal pay, they want more maternity leave and they want everything, which is fine for me as I'm not a chuvanist but when it comes to love matters they cannot lose face to confess. Heck if I were like Joan, I would be the Malaysia's version of 40 year old Virgin. Forget about the fear of rejection, how about we focus about the Fear of being alone, the Fear of not being love or the Fear of losing the love of our life? Isn't that more Fearful than the Fear of rejection. By the way, ol'Jon didn't asked her to confess, just communicate, take the first step and take the initiative. If you like passive guys, then this is a price you'll need to pay. The dividens will be that passive guys will cheat less than proactive guys, that's for sure!
So come on now, go shake the guy hand, look him in the eye and introduce yourself. If he has no intention then at least you can move on!
Lastly, it is about Lizzie; one of my favorite subject! :-) She is a hottie with curves to die for and she has a witty and funny streak that makes people laugh out loud. She is also a bit clumsy, a bit cute although at her age cuteness are called sillyness and she is also fantastically kind. Her problem is the Fear of indulgence! She is has moral highground and a lot of excuses to stop her from enjoying the things she wants and experiencing the pleasure she desire. She is constantly bothered with the Fear of Indulgence. Oh come on now, if you want that chocolate; take thems, take lots of them and do your pilates later to burn it off. If she feel like taking the day off with a fake mc, then do it to recharge your batteries. If she feel like romancing with the guy she likes then just do it. Do not let Morale Highground stand in our ways. Life is simple, get that car, buy that house and shag that girl/guy! You know you want it! However I have a bad feelings that she will die one day regretting all the obstacles she had build around her; stopping her from her indulgentS! She will die disappointed and lead a boring life! So come on now...stop surviving...and start living!
We shall never let fears stop us from living. We should use the energy of Fear to conquer other fears and achieve more in life, enjoy more in life and don't let Fear stop us...never as Fear will become a habit! If it become a habit, you'll need more than this blog to cure you...Cheers!
